What is the e-ROT Notification Service?
How often does your firm update their precedent Report on Title (ROT)? Are you aware of what other law firms are including within their ROT? Do you find yourself spending significant amounts of time drafting bespoke paragraphs for your ROTs?. With the e-ROT Monthly Alert Service you can receive updates as to the latest and relevant new paragraphs for you to consider including in your main precedent or to use as an optional text on the particular case.
The monthly notification service enables you to retain your existing ROT process and have much of the benefit of the e-ROT without having to take the complete system.
Typically, we send out a monthly notification listing the top 10 new paragraphs drafted in the previous month.
Updating your ROT is particularly important at a time given the constantly moving landscape when it comes to risk management in conveyancing. Solicitors and conveyancers are at greater risk of being sued for if their ROT is not comprehensive or address the appropriate risks. Furthermore, monthly notifications will assist in discharging your annual continuing competence requirements
